Jefferson City’s central location also offers the benefit of big city entertainment available less than two hours away in St. Louis and Kansas City. Just 40 minutes from the capital city, residents can enjoy water sports and recreation at the Lake of the Ozarks, which offers more shore line than the coast of California.

The city’s parochial and private schools include seven Catholic and two Lutheran schools, all of which offer exceptional education for students. Also, in order to meet the growing need in our community, Jefferson City has planned a new high school to open in the fall of 2019.
